the Genetic Freak

Aniwae the race started at 4pm sharp.the male indiviuals race started first.contestants have to swim 8 laps and run 4km.i joined the mixed relay.so i had to run only 4km.my partner yun wei had to swim 8 laps.ard 4.30pm we had to prepare ourselves to start the race.beep!the race was on.yun wei had to finish her swimming laps first before i can running.i was actually shocked when i saw her swim because i all know was that she is a swimmer but i didnt how good she eas.she really swim quite fast man!u should she her go.overtaking some swimmers.not bad for a big girl.i look at eunice team and her partner had compete 4 laps.they had completed and already started to run.yun wei had 1 more lap to go.i waited impatiently.it felt ages for me when she finish it.finally i can start running!but i made a mistake by running too fast in the beginning cause was to overtake a lot of people.followed the directions given by the marshals.then cause got one part on the road there was no marshal and i almost went to the wrong direction.but thanks to eunice i did not go the wrong way.she had gone the wrong way and running back to the correct direction.luckily she told me.if not i would have wasted a lot of time.my mind was thinking y the organiser did notput a marshal there.runners would have gone the wrong direction.then i realise i should concentrate on my running rather than the incident.i manage to overtake eunice but i was slowing down.runners start to overtake.it was damn demorolising ah.haha.see runners zoom past u.i did take 2-3 walking breaks to catch my breathe.i know i will waste a lot of time.but itry to compensate it by running faster.

before i know it i was 4oo metres away from the finishing line.instead of slowing down.i run even faster!haha.maybe i was happy it was going to end soon.then i was 100m away from the line.then i heard the commentator ironically was my friend james say."And here is ridzwan running.50 meters left and he is picking up pace.there runners behind picking up the pace too"i look behind and saw eunice!i quickly sprint!i look back infront and saw my friends cheering me on and i went past the finishing line,i felt relief!i somehow feel happy."And ridzwan reached the finishing line!"thats the thing i heard from the commentator when i crossed the finishing line.i quickly catch my breathe and went straight to get a drink h20.gulp down one bottle quickly.it was quite was exhausting and my body was aching all over.but the feeling of completing the biathlon race feels great.and this is the way how i want to feel when my biatholon adventure to ends
